Interfaith Cooperation in Advancing Peace in the World - Copenhagen, Denmark.

On February 1st 2026, Soteria participated in the “Interfaith Cooperation in Advancing Peace in the World”. The first speaker, Fakhra Sheheen from the Immigrant Museum in Farum, Denmark, emphasised the importance of historical documentation and underscored that this documentation must not be limited to the media and social media. She offered glimpses into the museum’s collection as inspiring examples. Fakhra underlined the importance of standing up for values and actively defending them so they are not forgotten.

Tali Padan from “Mellem Education” reminded of the importance of dialogue and that it should be upheld for real Peace to be installed. She advocated the importance of doing the “inner work” – to meet out own pain and heal – and that people who do this inner work should be supported. She invited the audience to be themselves and to stand up and let their light shine, so that we can all move to a future we want to see.

Nobuhiro Igarashi from the Universal Peace Federation emphasised that there is no one religion superior to others – each pursues the same goal with different methods. He calls for leaders of all religions to work together for Peace. And lastly, he made the audience aware of the universality of God's Grace – that it is for all human beings equally.

Gregory Christensen from Youth for Human Rights provided a clear presentation of the educational package that YFHR provides, and he pointed out the importance of educating in Human Rights for Peace to be a reality. And why not start with Denmark, which has a history of being excellent in applying Human Rights within its policies and society. He showed a survey where 82% of Danes answered that Human Rights are important to them. Gregory beautifully concluded that implementing and upholding Human Rights aligns with what religions are all striving for: Heaven on Earth.

Jonathan Selvig Skjalholt, on behalf of Soteria International, briefly shared about Soteria's work on Human Rights of Soteria and reminded that all human beings share certain fundamental aspects: for instance, the heart. He pointed out that the heart is superior to the mind, citing a study by the HeartMath Institute.

Jonathan shared that the harmony and love found within the heart of each human being has a frequency that never modifies and invited us to take a global look inside and reflect on: To what extent am I able to manifest harmony and love – a very concrete and important step towards Peace.
Jonathan underlined that we manifest states such as love, happiness, compassion, and tolerance according to our ability to resonate with certain frequencies of vibration that correspond to those states. These frequencies of vibration never modify and are the very building blocks of the Universal Consciousness, usually known as "Godly Attributes".

We at Soteria International wish to thank Bashy Quarashy, all the speakers, and all the organisers for this wonderful event, which raised awareness of the necessary steps for Peace in our modern world.
